EARTHQUAKE!

Woke Beth up shortly before I woke. Drawer pulls, etc. were rattling, and you could feel the low rumbling. Also felt and heard the m4.6 aftershock around 10:15. Not long after, we were sitting in the hobby room checking email, and I started bouncing my knee (nervous habit), and Beth turned around all in a startle and said "There it is again --- QUIT THAT!!!"

Reminded Beth of 1 Kings 19:10-13.

A Time to Sow

Plowed up the old corn stubble last week. As soon as the rest of the field dries out enough (a challenge this time of year), it will get disced and then we'll plant oats and alfalfa, plus another acre of field corn.

Hand Update

Progressing along nicely. Still have stiffness in the mornings until I work it out a bit.

Spring is on the way…

63° today, and they're calling for an inch of snow tomorrow… Welcome to spring in Illinois!

“Bounty”

Chad and Tyler spent yesterday making a film for a 24-hour film competition. The way it works is that at a certain time, a list of “security elements” are posted on a web site, and the film you submit must contain at least three elements in order to prove you started and finished within the 24 hours.

Precious Treasure

Chad has started pre-production on a new short film called Precious Treasure, and is looking for some help. Have a look at the opportunities and get in touch if you're interested.

Healing Hands

The following photos show healing of my hand after getting it caught in a New Idea No. 300 Corn Picker on November 10, 2007.
