The Archives - January 2011
We're just a family following Christ, living in a ~95 year-old house out on the prairie (and yes, we do have peach trees), rearing a couple of Godly sons and all the while trying to not make the locals laugh too much at our attempts at farming. Start of a New Year
After a nice Christmas and New Year's break, it's back to work... but before we got too far into the new year, we were invited by friends to accompany them on a ski trip up in Wisconsin, and we had a blast. It was our first time to ski, and no-one broke anything, either.
Homework
Work on the house continues - this is our tenth year on this project, and we're still not done! Lord willing, we should have the boys bedroom done in February, and the dining room done not too long after. We hope to have the mortgage paid off this year, and will probably work on getting all the siding stripped off and replaced with new insulation, wrap and lap siding over the summer.
