Here’s the annual (more or less) update on the ongoing remuddle project. Not really a lot to report this year, though. I installed trim on the porch posts, but didn’t get around to painting them before the weather turned too cold. We also finally added central air conditioning and I finished Beth’s kitchen work island. Other than a few minor repair projects, that’s about it for this year!
Status Report
Let’s start with the overview of the work done so far:
- Bored a new 50′ well
- Replaced about 1/3 of the foundation
- Rebuilt numerous structural areas
- Rewired the whole house
- Redid all of the plumbing
- Replaced all flooring downstairs with new sub and finish flooring/carpet
- Reshingled the roof
- Installed new furnace with A-coil for future A/C installation

- Insulate and convert attic to playroom
