Good Fences…
Tyler and I spent some quality father-son time together today working on our new pasture fences and gate. First time we’ve done this, but it stayed up when we finished, so I guess we did it right!

Planting Day
About ten of our fifteen acres is in crops each year, and last fall’s harvest was field corn. I had an epic plowing session with the 8N and a two-bottom plow, and then left the field “rough” over the winter to “mellow down,” which just means the freeze/thaw cycle breaks down and loosens the dirt, leaving it soft as butter in the spring…. A Beautiful Snow
A beautiful snow fell over the weekend – it’s rare we get a snow with no wind where it floats down lazily and lays evenly across the landscape.
