We had a lot of beautiful weather moments throughout 2015, along with simply interesting scenes from around the farm.
Two-and-a-half years after the tornado that hit our farm destroyed my large machine shed, I can say it’s now not only completely restored, but in fact is much better than before. Sometimes you just need a tornado in your life in order to break out of where you are!

We woke up to a couple inches of snow this morning. More is forecast for tomorrow, so I installed the snow tires on my Honda before leaving for church this morning.
The weather service alerted us to a Severe Thunderstorm Warning with potential 60mph winds and quarter-sized hail. Thankfully all we got was about an inch of rain in an hour and “reasonable” winds for this time of year.
