Chiefs Game

Two nights ago I went to the Chiefs game with some friends, and had a blast! One the way to the stadium, I was remembering the last time I had been to a ball game – ten years ago when I was 6. It was a Braves game, and we sat so far up in the stadium, that we had to use binoculars (Major League is expensive). Last night, we sat just to the right of the Chief’s dugout, and on row four (Minor League isn’t expensive). We got to the stadium half way through the first game (It was a double-header. The schedule didn’t say that though. It only said the game was starting at 7:00). The Chiefs won that game, and the field was prepared for the second game, and they started playing. First inning was uneventful. Second inning was a different story. The Chiefs managed to bring in four runs, making all their fans cheer. The River Bandits (who the Chiefs were playing against) managed 3 runs in inning 4. Inning six got tense when the Bandits scored a home run, tying the points. Inning seven pulled in, and the Bandits struck out with no points added to the score board. Chiefs were batting. 2 outs. 2 strikes. HIT! The Chiefs won the game at the last minute.
