Tremors.
Last night at 4:00, I was jolted awake by a ferocious shaking (that was slightly exaggerated). Immediately I know it was earthquake tremors. Turns out that Chicago had an earthquake on the Richter scale of 4.3 at 3:59. It took a full minute for the tremor to reach our house!
