The wacky spring weather continues... We've had several more hailstone-generating storms over the past couple weeks, including tornados passing within 5-10 miles of the house. You get used to the wind moaning and shaking the house, sort of. Well, you do kind of sleep with one ear open.
May 2 Update - A tornado was spotted 12 different times on a path that should have come directly over our farm. We never saw it, despite standing out in the rain scanning every direction. Got a lot of rain, though!
The past two days were absolutely gorgeous - temps in the 70s and sunny (with a little overcast here and there), with manageable winds (10-15 mph). Spring is definitely on the way:
