2008 Fall Family Festivities

As is our tradition, we loaded up the Caravan and headed south to Georgia to visit with friends and family, and to celebrate my grandmother's 99th birthday by performing a concert in her honor at the retirement home where she lives with my Mom. We were able to visit with several friends, and also had a wonderful trip to the North Georgia mountains.

Here we are at a beautiful valley in the mountains - we've made family photos at this spot several times before…

Granny and I with a copy of our local Stark County newspaper - I sent this photo to the paper folks, and we may be printed up in next week's paper! Granny looks right well for a 99 year old.

The family that emails together, stays together… (we may have been emailing each other - who knows?)

Ride 'em Cow Cat!

This photo was not staged! Oakey didn't mind the cat until it started to slide off and "dug in." I don't think the cat made the full eight seconds
