The Archives - October 2010

We're just a family following Christ, living in a ~90 year-old house out on the prairie (and yes, we do have peach trees), rearing a couple of Godly sons and all the while trying to not make the locals laugh too much at our attempts at farming. Poke around all you want and feel free to drop us a line anytime.

Ten Ten Ten

October 10, 2010 will be the only time in my life my birthday falls on 10/10/10.

Unless I live to be 148, that is.

Did I Mention I'm Really Good at Starting Projects?

At the moment, I'm in the middle of hanging drywall in our Dining Room (former Kitchen), and the siding on the outside of the Dining Room is half-off and needs to be redone before cold weather; I'm building an enclosed, insulated and heated workshop out in our large machine shed so I have a place to work in the winter and also a place to move all my tools out of the house; and, three weeks ago, I decided to tear out the old broken sidewalks and excavate and pour a new driveway.

I figure I have about six weeks before the ground starts freezing hard.

Yikes.

Back to SAICFF

Yep, Chad's a semi-finalist in the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival, again! Shell Bluff, this time.

Ya'll drop us a line when you can, now!
