When the Sun Shines…

You make hay!

The Hesston 6400 Windrower is my newest (1975) implement, and made the hay cutting a much faster and more pleasant job as compared to using my old New Idea sickle bar, which tended to plug up and stop working at least once every other trip around the field.

After letting the hay cure (dry) for several days, it was time to rake two windrows into one, both to help the hay underneath dry out, as well as to prepare for baling.

All done, and ready to bale as soon as everything dries out!
