Today was mainly a travel day that saw us depart the high desert areas of Oregon (roughly following the Oregon Trail).
We stopped at a rest area atop one of the mountain grades, where you could see both Mt. Adams (over Beth’s right shoulder in the photo above)…
…and Mt. Ranier (both mountains are visible in the photo above if you look closely).
We arrived at the Holland’s mid afternoon and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon and evening sitting on their deck overlooking Lake Washington. Bill Gates home is just around the corner of the lake. We waved hello.
Our evening was completed with playing some hymns and gospel music on guitar and piano as well as edifying spiritual discussion on a range of topics.
