Not a lot of visible progress in this update, other than a really muddy site at the end. I rented a trencher for a day and ran separate trenches for power and water from the house. Also trenched for french drains around both the shop and the house.
We started by digging two holes under the house foundation…
Both trenches are 24″ deep.
I’ll have a sink in the shop, so installed a greywater drain, including a floor drain. The water heater for the in-floor heat will sit next to this.
French drains around the back and sides (high sides) of the shop.
I’ll finish with a nice night shot taken after the trenches had been backfilled.
