We managed an earlier start today, and enjoyed driving through the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” the early part of the day.
Our travels today started in the Western part of Montana and ended in the Western part of Minnesota. North Dakota is inbetween. It’s a long state.
Our travels started out okay this morning, but after an hour or so on the road, we got a battery light on the van (we’ve had to jump-start it a couple times on the trip), and Providentially pulled into the last gas station in a remote area for miles. The van died shortly after we pulled in.
We officially started our trip home today with a shortish (4 hour) hop from Mom & Dad’s over to Glacier National Park. They took their car, too (so we could continue East from the park), and we had an enjoyable day viewing God’s beautiful creation.
We’re still at Mom & Dad’s, and took a side trip down to Coeur d’aLene today—it was a beautiful travel day, and we enjoyed a good Mongolian lunch while in town.
