After 18 years, 3 months on the farm, we are embarking on a new season of life! Having recently retired from Caterpillar, we’ve purchased a new, much smaller, home in Tennessee to be closer to our eldest son and two adorable grandkids.
We’ve been busy hauling our worldly (and ultimately temporary) possessions down in a 24′ enclosed trailer, and expect to have to make another 3-5 runs before we’re completely clear.
UPDATE: The farm was only on the market six weeks before it sold, praise the Lord! I ended up making seven trips with the enclosed trailer and three with the flat trailer, putting over 10,000 miles on my truck in two months the process.
