The Retirement of Eddie's Mother
My (Ed's) mom retired this past month from The University of Georgia (no jokes, please), after about 17 years of service. After my parent's divorce, mom had to go back to work, and this is where she ended up (in addition to working weekends for a flower shop). The first few years were 'interesting,' as I would get frequent calls from mom asking for computer help (the last keyboard she had used was attached to a Smith typewriter - long before Corolla entered the picture!). We're all proud of mom, and are looking forward to seeing where the Lord will lead her in the days to come.
